About Our Founder – Fernando Lamounier, MD, FACC, FACS

Originally from Brazil, Fernando moved to the United States to pursue his career in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Always looking to help others and make a difference in their lives, Fernando started SproutPoint to offer insight and industry knowledge to healthcare professionals.

“Very early in my career, I faced very difficult challenges that put my family and I under significant stress. I had to figure things out on my own as no training in business, negotiation, or money management is offered specifically to doctors. I then noticed that was not limited to medicine. Dentists, chiropractors, nurses, physician assistants, etc. were equally affected. I spent countless hours and thousands of dollars attending courses, reading books, studying, applying and refining the concepts I learned. I came out in a good position and promised myself I would to my best to help others so they don’t have to go through the same things and deal with the same stressful situations that I did. I then starter SproutPoint. Learning the skills and utilizing SproutPoint’s resources will do just that, and hopefully have a huge positive impact on your future. I strongly believe that if people fulfill their dreams and stick to their values, they live happier, richer lives, and the world becomes a better place.”
